WHO WE ARE

Praise Assembly Church is a body of believers located in Charleston, Illinois. Our heart and mission is to reach people in our city and the surrounding areas with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.  We strive to equip others for ministry so that they can share this same message of hope that we ourselves have received.


Our weekly worship services are meant to be a time of celebration and include powerful contemporary worship, a relevant teaching from the bible, and prayer.  All of the ministries and outreaches at Praise Assembly Church exist to exalt Christ and draw our church and community closer to God.

At Praise, we focus on three specific things as we pursue the vision that God has given our church. As a church, we purpose to be:


1. Family Friendly

You can count on all of our ministries and outreaches to be driven by the needs of families in our area.  


2. God Centered

All of our ministries and teachings will be centered on the word of God with the goal of drawing us into a closer relationship with Christ and the principles that he taught his own disciples.


3. Community Minded

We believe that the church goes far beyond just a building. As a result, we make every effort to have a presence in the community and to assist people and other local organizations whenever possible.
